OOOOPS......

I forgot to make a list for To-Do Tuesday last week...so I'm going to use my list from 2 weeks ago.

1. Tie and bind National Day Quilt.

2.  Rip out 3 rows of gray yarn on Neon Stripe.

3. Lay out Polar Bears to see where I'm at.

I started the National Day Quilt.  I got one side tied before I had to quit.  My fingers weren't feeling very well last night...they were hurting...so I only got one row done.  NOTE:  The fingers are working good today, so I'll finish tying and cut some binding for the National Day Quilt.

 2. I ripped out the gray yarn on the Neon Stripe Afghan...and found several more boo's boo's with the orange...so ripped it out.  Am putting the orange back now.  I'll finish this row and start the gray back.

3.  Polar Bears got laid out, sewed together, border is on.  It's in the hoop waiting to get tied.

I almost forgot to put my TAST stitch for this week here.  The stitch is for Week 6, Herringbone Stitch.  This is not one of my favorite stitches.  I have trouble with the fabric puckering...but this is my best effort to do this.  You can find this over at Sharon's place, Pintangle.  Hop over and check it out.  She also has a stitch dictionary.

 My SAHRR

The new round for SAHRR is posted, it's a Signature Block.  I'll have to figure out a pattern that I can applique.  I'll work that out this week.  See where it takes me.

My To-Do list for February 8 through February 14th.

1.Start Rnd 4 of SAHRR.

2. Finish tying National Day.

3.  Cut binding for National Day Quilt.

4.  Start tying Polar Bears.

5.  Lay out Christmas Sampler to see where I'm at.

Hope you have a.....

WHAT HAVE I BEEN DOING?????

It's Tuesday...so here's my list for To-Do Tuesday, hosted by Chris over at Chris Knits.  Hop over and check out what everyone else is working on.

I've missed a week, so am using my last post as my list.

August 3rd to August 9th

1. Make more Strip Blocks✔

2. Sew more RSC 2020 blocks together.✔

3. Start working on Orange You Glad Blocks.✔

4. Sandwich Salt and Sand Quilt. 👎

1. I got a few more Strip Quilt blocks done.  There will be 10 6 1/2" blocks in a row.  I've got Row 1 and 2 done and 7 1/2 done for row 3.

2.  I've got 2 rows done on the RSC 2020 Quilt together.  I had to quit because sewing through 4 layers of fabric and lots of other "stuff" is hard on the fingers....as I sew by hand.  Want to know where all the embroidery stitches came from?  Check out Sharon's Pintangle blog.  She has a stitch dictionary.

3.   I started working on my Orange You Glad Quilt.  Sorry to say I didn't make the deadline to join the Blog Hop, but I really wanted to have an Orange Quilt...so I started one.  I started making blocks and before I realized it, I had 3 rows done.  I will be adding one more row and then an outside border.  This is what I have now.

 4. Salt and Sand quilt is still waiting to be sandwiched.  I'll be finishing up the Orange quilt this week, So I'll sandwich both of them.

My list for August 17th through August 23rd..

1.  Sandwich Salt and Sand....and Orange You Glad quilts.

2.  Sew another RSC 2020 row on.

3.  Make a few more Strip Blocks.

4.  Start a new embroidery project.

Hope you all have a.....

TO-DO TUESDAY.....

It's Tuesday again...where did the week go?  Head over to Chris's place, Chris Knits and check out what everyone is working on.

Last week's list...

1. Make a decision on how to put the RSC blocks together!✔

2.   Do some more embroidery on the Band Sampler.✔

3.  Make a few more Strip Blocks. 👎

July 27th  through August 3rd

1. I started putting the RSC blocks together.  I'm just putting them together in order of month.   January, February, March...well you get the idea.  I got 2 rows together...but my camera can't get the whole row.  I'm doing them 10 blocks in a row.  All the embroidery stitches I used on these blocks, I got from Sharon over at Pintangle.  She hosts and meme called Take A Stitch Tuesday.  She show you how to do a new stitch every week.  Sharon also has a Stitch Dictionary if you need help looking for stitches to work on.

2.  I put a few more stitches in the Band Sampler.

See that little car on the bottom left...that section is all about getting my Covid Virus Shot.  Since I'll never see another pandemic...and I wouldn't want to....I thought I would get it written down somewhere.  This seemed like the perfect place to put it.

3.  I didn't get any new Strip Blocks done.  A Squirrel

came in and distracted me.   I started a new quilt for a friend.  As if I needed something new to do!!

For next week...August 3rd through August 8th

1. Make more Strip Blocks.

2. Sew more RSC blocks together.

3.  Start working on Orange blocks.

4. Maybe sandwich Salt and Sand quilt?????

That's it for today...have an awesome stitching....

TO-DO TUESDAY......

 To-Do Tuesday last weeks list.

 1. Finish the Clams!✔

2. Put the border on Salt and Sand.😐

3.  Work on the Band Sampler,✔

4.  Start putting RSC 2020 blocks together.👎

1.  I got the Clams done.  You can see my post HERE.✔

2. I decided not to put a border on the Salt and Sand...I'll let the binding be the edging. 😅

3.  I did work on my Band Sampler this week.  I'm using this as a Journal....with some new stitches that I've gotten from Sharon over at Pintangle...she has a Stitch Dictionary and when I get stuck on what to do next I head over there.✔

 4.  I didn't get anything done with the RSC blocks...they are still sitting in my To-Do Box...waiting.  I haven't decided how I want this quilt to go together.  By month....by color, or just stagger them.  I have 5 of each color..so that makes 60 blocks.  Got any ideas!!

This weeks list.

1. Make a decision on how to put the RSC blocks together!

2.   Do some more embroidery on the Band Sampler.

3.  Make a few more Strip Blocks.

Have an awesome...

Q IS FOR......

Quilt...and this saying is so right.  When I feel out of sorts or have a bad day......

working on one of my quilts quiets my mind and lets me relax.

As for my To-Do Tuesday list....it's a bust.  All I got done was to finish the middle of the Table Runner and get the Teapot Quilt Sandwiched..  I've been working on the A to Z Quilt and my Salt and Sand Quilt.

1. Sandwich Teapot Quilt.✔

2. Cut Binding for Teapot Quilt.👎

3. Finish the Tile Quilt.👎

4. Work more on the Table Runner.✔

5. Put a few more rows on my Afghan. 👎

The center of the Table Runner is done, now to figure out what to do with the rest.  Maybe I can get an idea over at Sharon's place, Pintangle.

Since I've gotten caught up on the A to Z Quilt...I can get the Tile Quilt finished.  And maybe get it sandwiched this week.

My To-Do Tuesday list for April 20th through April 26th.

1. Tie the Teapot Quilt/cut binding.

2. Sandwich Tile Quilt

3. Put a few more rows on my Afghan.

4. Cut binding fabric for Teapot Quilt.

5. Cut binding fabric for Tile Quilt

TO-DO TUESDAY....

 Hello everyone,

How has your week been going.  I've been sidetracked by my Frog quilt, so didn't get a lot done.  The Frog quilt needs one more side of binding and the label.

Here's my list from last week.

Ooops, I didn't make a list.  I'm working on my list from March 23rd.  It was a long list.

1.  Get the outside border on Salt and Sand.✔

2.  Fix the Tile Quilt.👎

3. Sandwich Teapots👎 and Frogs. ✔

4. Put more rows on the Afghan👎

5. Embroider the next block for TAST.👎

6. Cut blocks for In The Kitchen Blog Hop.✔

7. Start my Table Runner.✔

I got 4 of the things on my list done.

Salt and Sand went another way.  This is what I have right now...the outside border is going to have fish on it.  The black and gray shapes are River Mussels.  Have to put some embroidery on those.

As I said, The Frogs are almost done.

I'm at a stand still on the In The Kitchen Blog Hop.  I've got one block done, but I want to use some red gingham in this quilt, but I don't have any...I'll have to make a trip to Hobby Lobby.  This is all I've got done for this quilt.

My Table Runner is coming along...almost have the center embroidered.

My embroidery stitches are done using the Back Stitch.  You can find a stitch dictionary at Sharon's place, Pintagle.

My list for March 30th through April 4th.

1.  Finish the Frog Quilt.

2. Sandwich Teapot Quilt

3. Cut Binding for Teapot Quilt

4. Finish the Tile Quilt

5. Work more on the Table Runner.

What Happened to Monday and Tuesday......

I had every intention of posting my To-Do Tuesday yesterday.  But I got sidetracked by company and house chores.  So I guess I'll go today.

1.  Get the outside border on Salt and Sand.👎

2.  Fix the Tile Quilt.👎

3. Sandwich Teapots👎 and Frogs.✔

4. Put more rows on the Afghan👎

5. Embroider the next block for TAST.👎

6. Cut blocks for In The Kitchen Blog Hop.👎

7. Start my Table Runner.👎

Well, as you can see...this list was a bust.  I had a "squirrel" interruption.  I've wanted to make a Band Sampler for years.  And I found someone who is doing a Sampler Challenge.  Mary Corbet over at Needle and Thread is doing a Band Sampler Challenge.  Sharon over at Pintangle has joined in on this challenge also.  So that's what I was doing last week.

I did get the Frogs sandwiched and tied.  I be making the binding today and getting started on that.

I'm so behind on everything I wanted to get done.  So no more "Squirrel" interruptions.  I've got to sandwich the Teapot Quilt.  And I really need to get some muslin cut for blocks.

I started my Salt and Sand project a couple weeks ago.  But sorry to say it didn't get worked on either.  I was waiting on fabric to arrive, it took 2 weeks to get here.  So that slowed me down on this project.  Did anyone else do this Blog Hop??  You can see the list of everyone who is doing this over at Just Let Me Quilt.

WHAT ARE YOU WORKING ON.....

I've got several items to work on today....

Finish Overall Sam...the last edge of binding is on...this is #8 on my PHD list.

My National Day Calendar block for March is done...it's Fly a Kite Month.

Still working on the Tile Blocks...I've got 1 pinned...just need to sew the pieces down and this block will be done.  Then I can finish this into a filmsy.

Also working on my TAST(Take a Stitch Tuesday), that is  hosted by Sharon over at Pintangle.  I'm embroidering the stitch of the week onto blocks to make a quilt out of them.  This week's stitch is the Chevron Stitch.  I'm working on the Portuguese Stem Stitch.

I almost forgot about RSC 2021, the color this month is green...

And I will be playing with my new.......

sewing machine today...it arrived yesterday....it's a Brother GX37 Lightweight.  I got it from Amazon...the link will take you to the sewing machine I bought....I haven't got an affiliation with Amazon,  just thought you might want to check it out.  What are you doing on this spring like day??

TO - DO......

I've been kind of obsessed with working on 2 projects this week.  But, I'm getting ahead of myself.  My To-do list last week.

January 12th through January 18th

1. Sandwich, tie and bind Sunbonnet Sue. 👎

2. Cut stripes for Tile blocks.✔

3.  Work on more of the Frog blocks.✔

I didn't get Sunbonnet Sue sandwiched.  I just can't get in the mood to do this.  So Sunbonnet Sue, Overall Sam, and the Teapot quilt is still laying on the table waiting to be finished.  At this time, I'm working on the Frogs and Tiles Blocks.  I started putting the stripes on the Tile Quilt.  I really like this color for the stripes.  Don't know where or why I bought this fabric, but I really like it.

The frogs are coming along.  But I'm going to have to rip it apart to re-arrange the colors.  Too many green frogs and lily pads. I've also got to put more embroidery on the lily pads...so Sharon's Pintagle is the perfect place to find those embroidery stitches.  Head over and check her place out, she has a stich dictionary to find any stitch you want.  So, this is where I am now...

So this is what I've been doing for the last 2 weeks.  What have you been working on??

To-Do List for

January 19th though January 25th

1.  Work on Tile Quilt

2. Work on Frog Quilt

3. Sandwich Sunbonnet Sue, really, NO EXCUSES!!!

I'VE BEEN STUCK......

trying to figure out what I'm doing...plus I haven't been feeling well this past week...what I call the "just don't feel like myself" weeks.  I've been jumping all over the place on my projects...I think the problem is, I've got waaaay to many things going on.  My mind just doesn't know what to pick up and work on.  And my little table I use to put my projects on is so dis-organized I can't find anything I WANT to work on.  So starting today the projects are getting organized, into gallon size zip lock baggies and labeled.

I missed To-Do Tuesday last week...so I guess I'll make a new list of To-Do's.

October 13th  though October 19th

1. Organize the project table.

2. Finish embellishing the RSC blocks.

3. Work on Cat/Mouse blocks.

I did manage to finish the Pumpkin block of my Fall Sampler...and started the Christmas Sampler.

No luck getting the Umbrella and Crazy Quilt together.  At this stage of my confusion, it seems to be bigger than Mt Everest.

So these two quilts may go into November...we'll see what happens.

And over at Pintangle it's TAST(Take a Stitch Tuesday).....what is the new stitch this week...Woven Cross Stitch...head over and check this out.

Well, that's it for today...hope you all....

Over at Sharon's place, Pintangle, it's time for TAST (Take A Stitch Tuesday)...want to learn a new embroidery stitch?  This is the place to do that.  Sharon posts a new embroidery stitch every Tuesday.  This week it's Woven Detached Chain...here's mine.
