MY THOUGHTS: This is the second book I've read from this series and of course not in order. But each one is a good stand alone book. So don't let that hold you back from reading these books. This one involves Dylan Brodie. He has a little girl, Emily, that has been traumatized by her mother leaving them and on top of that her mother is killed in an auto accident. Dylan has closed his heart off, thinking he would never find love again. Then he runs into Lane. Lane is an Interior Designer who has come to renovate Dylan's Lodge. While they chase down someone who is haunting the lodge and a murderer, Dylan and Lane fall in love, but don't want to admit it to each other for fear of getting hurt. Do they stay together? Does Emily ever talk? You'll have to read the book to find out. I give this book 5....
