WEATHER CHANGES

Carissa over at lowercase letters is the host for Miscellany Monday. Have something to say? Head over and check this out.

1. It's getting chilly around here. We had our first frost the other day.

2. The leaves are falling off fast and covering everything.

3. Even the twins had to put on clothes and they didn't like it very well.

4. So does this mean I'm not going to be wearing these for much longer.

5. I hate giving up my flip flops.

SCAVENGER HUNT SUNDAY

One of many stuffed animals the twins play with.

The cement floor in the laundry room.

All the "stuff" you get when you have babies in the house.

The grass is covered with frost this morning.

Well, it should be Trees but the big one in the middle is the one I wanted for this.

PROJECT 365 WEEK 43

It's been chilly around here this week. I think the cold has set in. We also had our first frost the other day. Got all the tomatoes picked off the vines. Now all that needs done is cleaning the deck and getting everything put away for the winter. The next nice day we have that will happen. It's been raining the last couple of days. This is my week in pictures.

Blocks, they seems to multiply over night. You think you have them all picked up and then you find more.

The twins like to walk around the kitchen table. If something is too close to the edge it's fair game. Bella got a pork chop and proceeded to sit down and eat it.

Bella got a piece of bread stuck under her foot. She was trying to pick it out.

Luke helping grandpa with the potatoes, only he's eating the potatoes.

The shower head in our bathroom. It makes a great shadow.

I finally got my green stripe ripple afghan done.

A miniature orange slinky. A friend sent a Halloween bag to the kids. Sorted out the things to small for little hands and mouths.

IT'S FINISHED!!

I worked my fingers to the bones to finish this afghan. Well, maybe not to the bone. But I did finally get my green striped ripple afghan done. Now I just have to give it a bath and it will be ready for snuggling.

If you want to see more projects head over to Beth's place for Fibers on Friday or you could head over to Tami's place for FO Fridays.
This is also a part of my Year of Projects over at Ravelry.

THIS OR THAT THURSDAY

What have I been taking pictures of this week? Well you probably already know that, my grandbabies of course, Bella and Luke. They are both walking now and into everything. They are always 2 steps ahead of me.

Bella likes to pull the bread off the table. She gets her a piece after she dumps it all out and takes off. I caught her this time before she could dump it.
I love the look on her face in this picture.

Bella and Luke also like to get in the dresser. They actually know how to open the bottom drawer. They pull all the blankets out like they are searching for the right one.

I love this picture of Bella with her toast. She looks so innocent.

And of course I couldn't forget the other critters that live with us. The dogs, Katie and Bubba. I got Bubba sleeping.

ONE A DAY PROJECT - TUESDAY'S TALLIES

I had a pretty good week. Worked on several projects. I got 2 rows of my granny square afghan done and 7 more to add on. Haven't decided what I'm going to do with this yet. I'm thinking about adding one big square in the middle but haven't decided yet. I also worked on my ripple afghan, one for color change and it's done. Hopefully I'll have it done for FO on Friday. Anyway here are my 7 squares and my 2 rows.

PICK ME UP

Lisa over at Lisa's Chaos is the host for Macro Monday. Got a Macro or close up shot to share? Head over to Lisa's place to show it off.

This is Bella. She likes to stand between my legs and make faces at me. The message she's trying to get across is "pick me up". It works. I pick her up. She stays a few seconds and off she goes again.

PROJECT 365 Week 42

It was rainy and cold all week. I got a couple shots in between showers.

The neighbors dog, Jake came over but didn't find me interesting enough to stick around.

The tree that fell is now being cut up and stacked by my hubby into our pile of wood for the winter.

Looking up at the sky through the arbor in the garden.

Mother Nature putting on her show of color. This was the last pretty day we had. The rest of the week it rained.

Luke looking a little surprised when I took his picture.

Luke found the pots and pans.

This is a file box I covered and decorated. I keep all my letters for my scrapbooking in here. This is also my entry for The Round Robin Photo Challenge.

OUTDOOR WEDNESDAY

I'm joining Susan over at A Southern Daydreamer for Outdoor Wednesday. Got some outdoor pictures to share? Head over and check out all the pictures everyone is sharing today.

We have Maple trees around our house. They are beautiful right now. All except one. It has been teetering on falling for the last couple of years. Well it finally fell a couple weeks ago. Thankfully it just missed the garage.

Now comes the work of cutting it up and carrying away all the brush. My hubby is doing the brush and cutting up the small pieces. He doesn't have a big enough saw to do the large pieces. The neighbor has one and he's cutting it up and splitting it. He gets to keep what he cuts. So it's a win win for both.

ONE A DAY PROJECT - TUESDAY'S TALLIES

I've started a new blanket. It's a Granny Square blanket. I worked on it today and got 15 squares done.

As for the doily I was working on, it's come to a screeching halt. I'm more interested in working with yarn right now. So the Granny Square and my ripple afghan will keep me busy for awhile. I put a couple more rows on the ripple last week. With the cold setting in it seemed like a good thing to do.
