I also started a new project, as if I need another one, but it's so cute.  It's called Hand Picked....your can read all about it......HERE.

where did the week go.  Well, it it's Tuesday it's time to report on how I did on my To-Do List from

My week went pretty well, for sewing.  I didn't work on the Circle Quilt.  I did get the border on the Christmas Sampler.

Still sewing down bugs on my SAHRR.

I had a Doctors appointment this morning...so when I was done....I stopped at Hobby Lobby.  Got a big Queen size batting and of course I had to get some fabric too.  That big white blob is 10 yds of bleached muslin.  I was completely out.  Got some black, gray and a pretty green check.  It was on the clearance table.  So now maybe I can get a few of the filmsey's in my box together.

This week over at Pintangle it's Wk. 16 and the stitch this week is Coral Stitch.  I didn't get the Week 15 Butterfly stitch done from last week.  So I have 2 stitches to work on.  I did get my Week 14 stitch done.  It was the Cable Chain.

My To-Do List for April 26th through May2nd...

2.  Do Butterfly and Coral Stitches for TAST.

Tiny Tiles.  My pile of Tiny Tiles is growing.  I think it's time to start putting them together.

I put the border around the Christmas Sampler yesterday.  I really like the blue border!

And I put the border around the Dresden Plate.  I'm not sure about the black checked fabric....I may have to change that one.  I haven't sewed it on yet...so I can change if I want.

STILL WORKING ON........

SAHRR quilt top...still sewing down bugs.  This time I'm doing the embroidery work when I finish a bug.  Last time I made a quilt like this, I didn't do that and took forever to do all the embroidery work.  I've got 2 sides done...2 more to go.

Today I'll be adding the border to my Christmas Sampler.  Laid it out on the design floor and put the border fabric around it, to see if I liked it....and I do!  Don't worry, I cut an extra strip for the shot pieces.  When it's done it will go into my box of quilt tops to sandwich.    This is #6 that needs sandwiched, tied and binding.  If I ever make it to Hobby Lobby!

I got my new issue of American Patchwork Quilts last week.  I've been going through it over and over.  There are 2 quilts I want to make, yea, I know, a new project, as if I don't have enough already....but they are really cute.

There are 2 that I want to start NOW!   A basket quilt and a Nine Patch with embroidery...I really like this one the best.  Sorry about the spot.  It's my camera flash.

The other one I want to make is a basket quilt.  I love the different colors in this one.

Well, that's it for now....I'm linking up with....

I HAVEN'T BEEN IN.......

the mood to work on anything this week.  I'm in a slump of some kind...maybe I'm burned out....nooooo that can't be it.  I love work on a quilt.  Or I've got too many projects going at the same time.  Plus I REallY need to get to Hobby Lobby to get some muslin and batting.  I've got 5 quilt tops that need to be sandwiched.  So you can see my dilemma...so tomorrow morning I'm going to Hobby Lobby....no more putting it off.  Well, that's enough complaining....on to what I've been working on.

I didn't get the border on the Christmas Sampler or work on my Circle Quilt.  I was in the mood to embroider.  I finished the Trailing Vines piece.

I also got my Wk 14 stitch done, Cable Chain.  The stitch this week is Butterfly Stitch.  So I'll be working on that this week.  Want to know about embroidery stitches...head over to Sharon's place, Pintangle.  She gives you a new stitch every week.

My To-Do Tuesday list from last week.

1.  Put border around Christmas Sampler👎

2. Work some more Circle Quilt.👎

3.  Work on Trailing Vines embroidery.

I've been working on my SAHRR quilt this week.  I've got all the bugs pinned and ready to applique down.  There are ants, ladybugs, butterflies, snail, spider and a worm, even a stink bug.  I think it's about as big as I want it....just have to decide on what color of border to put on it.  And finish the center block.

As for the Quilty 365 circles...well that didn't get worked on this week.  So it will go back on the list for next week.

My list for To-Do Tuesday, April 19 through April 25

1.  Work on circle quilt

2. Put the border on Christmas Sampler

3. Work on SAHRR

4.  GO to Hobby Lobby!!!!

Have a great.....

RED WORK BASKETS......

is a filmsey.....I finished it last night.  It will go into my box of filmsey and wait to be finished.  Just like the others waiting...they all need sandwiched, tied and binding.  If I ever make it to Hobby Lobby, that is!  This is on my Wait List...you can check other Wednesday Wait Listers out over at The Inquiring Quilter.

And I'm going to start pulling fabrics for a new project....as if I need another one.  It's a toss up between these 2...maybe I'll do both, who knows.  These two quilts are in the book Patchwork Quilts & Gifts by Jo Colwill.

Spot the Daisy

Childhood Memories...I'll be changing this one a little bit.  I'll be putting farm animals on mine.

.Have a great......

AS IF I NEED.......

another quilt project.  But I got my new quilting book a couple of weeks ago.  I've been looking through it, drooling over all the quilts....and I've decided I want to make 2 of them..It's called... Patchwork Quilts & Gifts by Jo Colwill.

There are several quilts in this book I want to make.  One is called Spot the Daisy.  I really like the color combos used for this quilt.  And I'm 90% sure I already have everything I need to start this quilt.  So you will be seeing this pop up on my blog from time to time.

Another one is called Childhood Memories.

I'm not really fond of  piecing, but I think I can handle 4 and 9 patches ok.  But a couple of the blocks I'll have to improvise.  The stars will be made by appliqueing them.   So these 2 quilts will be added to my ever growing list of quilts.  I have so many ideas for quilts floating around in my head, it's kind of mind bogging some times trying to decide which one to make.

Right now I have several quilts in process.

1. 2 need sandwiched, tied and binding added

2. 2 need borders sewed on them.

3. One needs tied and binding.

4. 3 that are almost filmseys...just need to finish the applique, embroidery and borders added.

That's 8 quilts and I want to START 2 more!!  Oh well, I'll have fun putting these 2 together.  So I'll start pulling fabrics today and see what kind of progress I make.

I'll leave you with a picture of a flower in my garden...not sure what it is, but I like all the tall brown stalks from last years flowers.  I figure out what it is when the new sprouts shoot up,

SUNDAY STITCHING....

The last couple weeks I've been working on 3 quilt tops...trying to get into filmsey stage.  One is close.

My Red Work quilt is almost done.  Just have to finish appliqueing the hearts on.  Then the border can be added.

My Circle (Quilty 365) is getting closer.  Still have to attach some more circles and border.

And I've got my "bugs" pinned on my SAHRR quilt.  Well, not all of them, but it's a start.

Once the bugs are all appliqued down, I can start working the center panel.  This is a sample of what is going in the middle panel.  I haven't quite got the placing of these items yet, but I'll figure it out.  And I might add a farmer to the center, is I can find a good one to applique.  I'll have to search for one this evening.

Watering Can

a sign post...

and a Garden Trowel.

I just pick one to work on in the evening while watching t.v.  I'll be working on the SAHRR tonight.

I HAVE SPENT THE WHOLE WEEKEND......

trying to get my Quilty 365 quilt top to a filmsy stage.  This quilt has been languishing in the bottom of one of my boxes for 5 years.  So I decided to get it out and finish it up.  I had October, November and December to do.  Well, I'm almost there.  October and November is done and I'm working on December now.  This quilt is sit up like a calendar.  I've filled the spots that start or end the months with gray or blue with smiley faces embroidered on them.   And the Month is embroidered on the first circle.   This is my Monday Making project this week.  Head over and check out what everyone one is working on.

This is January through September all done.  This will be a filmsy by the end of April.  If you want some info on this project head over to Quilty Folk. She still has all the info on her blog.  She has all the info in a tab at the top of her page.

And over at Rambling Woods....it's SPRING.... well, maybe so I went outside and got some pictures of the flowers coming up in my yard.

The Daffodils are blooming, they are the only ones brave enough to bloom while March makes up it's mind if it's spring or winter.

And I can't remember what kind of flowers these were....but I really like the way they look now, too.

Well, that's it for now....have a wonderful...
