NEEDLEWORK........

Just a little update on what I've been working on.  I've started putting my circles together.  Of course the first section is January.  I've got the first row done.

I'm using the gray for the fill in blocks.  I thing I' m going to make them a smiley face with buttons and some embroidery. 
I've also been working on my May circles.  I'm behind, I've only got 19 done and this is the 25th.  But I'll catch up by the end of the month.

I also put a few more stitches on my Red Work.  I've started the 3rd block, it has lots of Lazy Daisy stitches to do.

As an added thought, yesterday was Bella's award day a school.  She got the Most Progress Award.  She's done so well in school.

BELLA'S CHRISTMAS PROGRAM.......

Last week Bella's Christmas program was presented to parents.  I went in thinking what could a bunch of kindergarten kids do.  But they were really awesome!  They came in waving little (for lack of a better word) flags.   Bella is the one in pink.

 They all went to the risers and got in order.  They then started singing.

They were wonderful.  There singing was really good and they had the movements of the song.  All in all I was amazed.

The little girl smiling with her face looking toward the camera is Bella.  She saw me out in the audience taking pictures.  So she hammed it up as usual.

RACING......KID STYLE

Bella has a very good imagination, she can play quite awhile just using her imagination.  Bella and Luke like to chase each other around a circle in our yard.  They have a clear path to run.  One day last week Bella decided she was racing, pulling along her little wagon.

And of course you have to have a trophy for winning the race..so we made one up that she was happy with.

She played this "racing game for quite awhile. 

PIGTAILS.....

Most every little girl has had them.  Pigtails....here's an excerpt from Wiki on the subject of Pigtail's.

"Most dictionaries still define "pigtail" as a single tight braid. However, many speakers use the term to describe two symmetrical bunches of hair on either side of the head, braided or not. In some cases, the term applies to unbraided hair."

Bella wears pigtails sometimes.

DRESS UP......

You ever play Dress Up when you were a child?  Put on your parents clothes and pretend your something else?  Tommy recently had an important meeting with a potential client.  He bought new pants, shirt, tie and shoes.  Bella saw him all dressed up and wanted to wear his clothes.  She put his shirt on, his tie and his shoes.  She was telling everyone she was a doctor.

BELLA'S SELFIE.....

Bella is pretty good at taking pictures.  Mostly she uses a play camera.  She also tends to get a little close to her objects.  So took a chance and let her actually let her use my camera.  She always turns the camera around so she's looking at lens.  So had to turn it around for her.  And she clicked....this is her picture.

I think it turned out pretty good!

TOES....

Bella's toes....while she is in the clothes hamper.  The kids play there a lot.  And if there are clothes in it?  They take them all out and climb inside..

PINK......

Bella's favorite color is Pink.  As you can see from these pictures.

BOOTS.......

Bella in her pink boots.  She wore these all winter and is still wearing them now. 

LAUNDRY.....

well, it's kind of like laundry.  The twins like to get in the laundry hamper and if there are dirty clothes in it, they dump it out.  Bella really likes the hamper a lot.

HAIR......

Bella's hair has grown out enough for a pony tail.  She looks so cute with a pony tail.

THURSDAY....

afternoon the hubby was looking out the living room window.  Bella decided to jump on his back and look too.

Then she decided to watch a little t.v. while she was there.

BASKET.....

kind of a basket.  It's actually the laundry hamper.  The kids use it as a toy and they are redecorating it with crayons.  Mostly they like to get in the hamper.  You can't see Bella very well, but she's in there.

DOMESTIC ANIMAL......

well, it's kind of a domestic animal.  Bella was about 1 year old when the hubby brought home a box full of toys he got at a rummage sale.  Bella went straight for a pink pig bank.  It's missing it's plug so you can't put money in it, but she plays with it all the time.  Today she was playing with her pig.  She was carrying on a conversation with her pig, don't have any idea what she was saying, and then she kissed her pig.   

COOKING.....

The next generation of cooks in our family.....is Bella.  She's helping daddy make dumplings.

Hubby found a box of stuff that someone threw away.  In the box was a pig bank missing it's plug.  Bella latched onto it from the beginning.  She was about 1 then.  She has played with the pig ever since.  She cuddles it, carry's it around and even puts it in the sand pile with her.

I've got a series of shots of Bella.  I thought I'd share them with you.  She shows her emotions all over her face.   She's also a big ham for the camera.  If she sees you with the camera, she will stop what she's doing and pose.

SPRING FEVER????

Can little ones get spring fever?  I'd say so.  The twins are getting antsy being in the house, they want to go outside and play again.  Bella stands at the dining room window and looks out.  She'll stand there for awhile.  She does this several times a day.
