There's nothing like hopping in the pool on a very hot sultry summer day.  We bought the twins a kiddie pool to play in.  They like playing in water.  They aren't particular about what kind of water.  It can be a hose, a muddy puddle, or the water feature in our back yard.

The "pond" took a beating for the winter, so now we have to re-work it, but the kids seem to not care what it looked like.  So we went and got the kiddie pool.  They had so much fun.

I can't believe they are getting so big now.  Don't know if I've told you before, but both kids are Autistic.  They are doing so great in school, they both are going to FIRST GRADE next year.  Bella is very excited about that.   Bub could care less, he's not very fond of school.  He would rather stay home and be on his computer.  It really is the little things in life that gives you the most pleasure!

MONDAY RAMBLINGS......

I was cleaning out some of my photo files yesterday.  Some of my photos have two or three of the same pictures.  So I'm going down memory lane today.  Which lane am I going down?  The twins of course.  Born 2010, they have grown so much.

 Now they are in school getting ready to go to 1st grade.  It seems like the last 7 years have flown by.  These are their Kindergarten pictures.  I haven't gotten this years pictures uploaded to my computer yet.

BUNNY RABBIT HAT......

Miss Bella likes to wear her bunny rabbit hat, more to play in than to wear for the cold.  But really, 90 degrees and 100% humidity is just a little tooooo much.

Starts with G....

Even though we haven't had any significant amounts of rain in the last 20 days, our grass is still green.  A few brown spots are showing up.

Lots of wheels, the little car the twins are playing with has wheels.  My Taurus has wheels.

TWINS 6TH BIRTHDAY....

The twins, Bella and Luke, had their 6th birthday a couple weeks ago.

It's finally got warm enough to break out the squirt guns.  The twins were playing all afternoon. Shooting each other and anyone else who got in the way.  I got squirted a couple times, which grandma didn't like.  lol

A PAIR.....

of handmade picture frames.  These are what Bella and Luke made for their mom and dad for Christmas. 

DIFFERENCES......

It's amazing the differences a couple years can make.  Have you ever looked back at pictures and see such a difference in the person?  I've got some examples of Bella and Luke.

They are both growing up right before my eyes.  Bella and Luke started school a couple weeks ago.  Bella is having a hard time adjusting.  But I have confidence she will adjust.  Bella knows the ABC's, knows how to count to 100, knows all the colors and shapes.  She just needs to adjust to being away from home.  She isn't a very social person.  So being in a school environment is hard for her.   As for Luke, he has been diagnosis as Autistic.  He's on the lower scale of the Autism chart.  He's a very smart little guy.  You only have to show him something once or twice and he knows it.  He's been using a computer since he was 1 year old.  He's also a very lovable person.  

MEMORIES.....

I was looking through and sorting my pictures.  I have pictures of the twins from birth through now.  I thought I'd share a few of my favorites of the twins from 2011.

This is the twins from June of 2015.....hard to believe they have grown this much.

CHILDREN AT PLAY.....

WATER FUN......

We've been have typical Indiana weather for the last couple of weeks.  High 80's with 70 to 100% humidity.  In other words, you go outside, it's like walking into a Sauna.  So the kids have been having lots of fun with the water toys they have.

BABY......

I was cleaning out some of the pictures on my computer.  I've got 3 or 4 of the same pictures, so have been cleaning them out.  I came across these three and thought I'd re-share.

Looking at these pictures it's so hard to remember them being this little.  It's so good to have the pictures to remind me.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY....FUN....

to Bella and Luke.  They were 4 years old a couple weeks ago.    They of course had birthday cake, which they only eat the icing, not the cake.  lol

They got a Slip n' Slide for their birthday.  They haven't quite got the slide part yet, but they love running through the water.
