MY THOUGHTS: As usual I started this series in the wrong place. But it is a great stand alone book. The author adds enough info that you can pick up on the characters lives. There are two mysteries contained in this book. The first is who is killing women and cutting off their ring finger. The second is who is after Jessica/Anne-Marie and why. Jessica is running for her life from her husband, but why? Then an old flame shows up and wants to take her back to New Orleans. Who wants Jessica back in New Orleans, her family, husband or the cops. You'll have to read the book to find out. I give this book 5.....
