REMEMBER THIS.....

Remember my post about a bag of yarn my hubby got at a rummage sale? 

Well, I've started a new afghan.....here it is so far.

What do you think?  The colors kind of go together.  I'm liking it so far.  But I have changed the colors in the third line.  I ran out of the light green and the peach colors, so had to change to other colors I already had.  There may be more changes as I run out of the colors, but I think I like this color combo.

MYTH OR FICTION.....

Around here everyone believes the color of the Wooly Worms tells what kind of winter your going to have.  If they are black it's going to be a cold snowy winter.  Well, we have been seeing lots of brown and black Wooly Worms.  My son found one in the yard and I got a picture of this one. 

 

As you can see it's mostly black with some brown.  So is it a myth or fiction?? Depends on your point of view I suppose.

TA-DAH......

I finally got Bella's Coloring Book Quilt done.  Well, almost.  I've still got to put the label on it.  But it's all done except for that.  Now I need to make a trip to Jo-Ann Fabric to get the batting and fabric to finish Luke's quilt.  I'll be making a trip to town this week so I'll be picking it up then.

What You Saw Today...
The Ash tree is almost de-leafed.  It's the last one with leaves in the spring and the first one that loses it's leaves in the fall.

Corner.....
This is my corner, my computer, books, crochet and whatever else I need is here.

Pink.....
Bella is a pink freak.  She has pants and shirts that are pink and she would wear them everyday if she could.  There's also a pink playhouse.

COMPUTER WHIZ.....

Luke is a computer whiz.....he can operate the games in both computers.  His own computer and his mom's laptop. 

He gets that little finger going.  I even have trouble doing this, I much prefer a mousse.

GRANDPA......

Being grandparents of twins is sometimes hazardous.  They tend to want to romp on you.  They caught grandpa while outside.  As soon as they saw grandpa they dropped everything and ran over to him.  They climb and sit on you.  Believe me, I've been subject to this romping myself.

Something Colorful.....my son recently ordered some bicycle parts and they sent him a watch.  It's a really bright pink, so he didn't want it.  He gave it to me.

Light.....is the evening sun shinning through the trees.

You.....is of course me.

In Motion.....I didn't get anything for this one, so went to my archives for a shot.  Bella and Luke jumping on their "trampoline".  It's actually an old crib mattress.

Afternoon.....after an afternoon of playing, the backyard is a mess.
