MY THOUGHTS: I love to read a good Historical Romance. This was well written with a long list of characters and a little mystery as well. Daria's grandmother, Mamie, is hiding something. And Daria is bound and determined to find out what. Daria is taken to the Laird's castle and held for ransom for the money her grandmother swindles out of the Laird's Uncle. While Daria is at the castle she finds people who need her help. Can't tell anything else as it will give the story away. Really good book, loved it.
Sounds good, if you like historical fiction you wuld probably like Jessica Stirling. They are older books and might have to buy used. But they are written by a Scot and are historical romance actually written by a man using a pen name! I guess he wrote tons of these books. Just finished Treasures on Earth and loved it. A real shocking ending too! I'll get the review up soon.
