I've been pretty busy the last couple weeks. Been working on 3 of my quilts. They are all in various stages. I'll start with my Crazy Quilt. It's coming along very nicely. At this point I'm trying to decide what size to make it, a lap quilt or a bed quilt. I've put a couple more rows on the side since this picture was taken, made it wider.
Next up is the Dresden Plate Quilt. I've run out of muslin so can't do anything else until I get to Joann Fabric. I've got 3 rows of it done so far, along with the first border. What do you thing of the border color? Let me know, ok.
Talked to my brother a couple weeks ago and he said he wanted a quilt. So started him and his wife one. Don't know where I got the idea, but they are getting cats and dogs for their quilt. I've got several of the blocks done, but need some medium green for sashing. Haven't gotten a picture taken of the blocks yet. I was wondering where you get your inspiration for quilts? Books, magazines, the internet or it just pops in your head. Let me know. I guess that's it for now, don't forget to head over to Heather's place.
Nice work, Sherrie! Both of your quilts are terrific. I love how colourful they are. Great job.
ReplyDeleteoh wow, you sure have been busy. Love how both of those quilts are progressing. Great choice for the sashing on the Dresden.
ReplyDeletei get my ideas all over, most from browsing online, that wandering from link to link. Far too many ideas in fact.
Thanks for linking up with Needlework Tuesday.
