NEEDLEWORK TUESDAY......

I'll be joining Heather over at Books and Quilts for Needlework Tuesday.  Head over and check out what everyone is working on.
Wellllll, I've gotten side tracked as usual from getting a project done.  My Flower Garden quilt is still in progress.  What has side tracked me????  The 2020 Crazy Quilt Challenge going on over at Sharon's place, Pintangle.  Go check it out.  I've got Block 8 and Block 9 done.

Block 8
I think I'm going to add some Embroidery to that big Gray and Black spot, they look empty.
Block 9
This block kind of went along the lines of Fall and Halloween.  It didn't start out that way.  It just evolved on it's own.
I think my work is improving....this is what Block 1 looks like...Do you see the big difference????

Block 1
I've actually been thinking about re-working all the blocks.  Adding embroidery stitches to them.  Some of them.....well, if I'm honest with myself, Blocks 1 through 8 need something.  Since I've gotten Sharon's book, The Visual Guide to Crazy Quilting,  I can see lots of improvement needs to be done.  Just a thought for now.

  2. That is certainly a creative way to use up scraps. It looks like you are enjoying yourself.

  3. There is something so lush about this kind of stitching. And what a great way to use up little pieces.

  4. Your work is lovely Sherrie. I think that mixing up the angles and adding curves really brings the pieces to life. When they are all such straight even lines like the first block, it doesn't have the movement of the later ones.
Thanks for mentioning Sharon's book. I saw it online and was curious.

Thanks for linking up with Needlework Tuesday
