Bella's hand in mine. It always amazes me that kid's hands are so much smaller than mine.

READ SCOTLAND READING CHALLENGE....
Peggy Ann over at Peggy Ann's Post is the host for the Read Scotland Reading Challenge. I'm working on Just a Keek (1 to 4 Books).
Death of a Policeman - M. C. Beaton
Product Descripton(Amazon.com)
Local police stations all over the Scottish Highlands are being threatened with closure. This presents the perfect opportunity for Detective Chief Inspector Blair, who would love nothing more than to get rid of Sergeant Hamish Macbeth. Blair suggests that Cyril Sessions, a keen young police officer, visit the town of Lochdubh to monitor exactly what Macbeth does every day. Macbeth hears about Blair's plan and is prepared to insure that Cyril returns back to headquarters with a full report. But Cyril is soon found dead and Hamish quickly becomes the prime suspect in his murder.
Series: Hamish Macbeth Mystery
Hardcover: 272 pages
Publisher: Grand Central Publishing; First Edition edition (February 25, 2014)
Language: English
ISBN-10: 1455504734
ISBN-13: 978-1455504732
MY THOUGHTS: This is the first book I've read of this series and as usual I've not started with the first in the series. But it was a very good book. Lots of characters, mystery and the location is very descriptive. Sergeant Hamish Macbeth is trying his best to solve the murder of a fellow police officer. There are lots of clues and lots of people along the way to help you decide who murdered police officer Cyril Sessions. And I'm telling you that you'll never in a million years figure out who it is until the very end. I was totally shocked by who the killer was! Very good book if your a mystery fan.

GARDEN FRESH.......
We got our first tomatoes from our garden. We planted heirloom tomatoes and they so sweet and delicious. The Cucumber came from the Farmer's Market. We cut up the cucumber and added onions, vinegar, water and a little sugar. Yummy!

NEEDLEWORK TUESDAY.....
Heather over at Books and Quilts is the host for Needlework Tuesday. Got a project your working on and want to share....head over to Heather's place to check out all the info.
I got my Sunbonnet Sue tied, now all it needs is the binding. Hoping to work on that tonight.
I finally got the yarn I needed to finish my Crochet A-long I was working on. It is over at Red Heart. I had lots of trouble working the blocks. Didn't like the way they were turning out. So I opted out for using just the Granny Square block. I really like the colors I've used for this Afghan, it's really pretty.
Don't forget to head over to Heather's place.

WILDLIFE.....
We have lots of wildlife around here. Some of them I've captured with my camera. Some of them are too fast for me to catch. This little guy sat at our back door for over a week. He was eating the bugs coming out of the cracks of the bricks. You'll probably want to zoom in to see him, he kind of blends into his surroundings. Just click on the picture and it'll make it bigger.
