Our pear tree is loaded with pears this year. We won't get to pick them until the after the first frost. But they are so sweet and tender. Love eating a fresh pear off the tree.
I still don't get any fresh pears from my tree. My peach tree didn't do very well this year. The drought from last year and earlier this year I suspect is why. Love your blog. Going to check some of your recipes now. I just started a cooking blog - only have one recipe up so far but more are well on the way to being posted - tomorrow.
Our peach tree did great this year, but our 2 plums did not. Maybe next year. Still waiting on the apple trees, and hoping the deer won't get the apples first.
You have so many pears. That will be a nice harvest come fall...perfect!
