STITCHING AND BOOKS.......

I'll be joining Kathy and all the folks Slow Stitching today.  Kathy hosts Slow Sunday Stitching over at Kathy's Quilts.  Hop over and check it out.
I'll be working on a pillowcase.  I bought them several years ago and as usual they got stuffed into a bag and forgot about.
They are a special edition from Bucilla.  I'm working on the top rose right now.
It's December already, where the heck did November go???  I seem to lose days and weeks, even months now a days.  I've got plans for that in the coming year.  I'll keep you posted on that one.

  1. Love the pillowcase, my mom would emborder pillowcases and I have only one now. I wore them out years ago and wish I had them now.
Thank you so much for the book review link which I going over after this to check out. I'm always looking for new books. I have 3 of Erik Larsen's book, love them. Devil in the White City was good and so was the Lusitania

  2. Love the roses on those pillowcases you are doing a lovely job. I love pre-printed pillowcases I have a few that I have done in the past as well as a few from the past waiting to be stitched in my someday box

  4. The pillowcases are lovely. My mother and husband's grandmother have made some lovely ones. I cannot even hem a pair of pants without it looking like a 3-year-old went wild...lol Hope this week is a good one

  5. Gorgeous slow stitching there on the pillow case Sherrie. I love the idea of planning but... the actual getting out a book planner while appealing I won't do. Reminds me too much of all those days of planning when I was a teacher. Now in retirement its time to spend the time where I don't plan! You got some great reading in during November.
