I missed last Tuesday...so I'm going with my list from...
November 24th through November 30th
1. Tie the Jar Quilt✔
2. Do some more Tile Blocks✔
3. Bind the Jar Quilt👎
The Jar Quilt is almost done. Put the last side on last night. Just a few more stitches and the label and it will be done.
I put a few more tiles on the Tile Block...just needs a few more added.
What else have I been doing....READING. I finally found a book I enjoy. 1st Case by James Patterson.
With little training, Angela is quickly plunged into a tough case: tracking murderous brothers who go by the Poet and the Engineer. When Keats tells her to "watch and listen," Angela's mind kicks into overdrive. The obsessive thinking that earned her As on campus can prove fatal in the field.
: Grab your current read
2: Open to a random page
3: Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
But that other phrase....Faraday bag....was like a piece of driftwood, something I could latch on to in the middle of all this unfamiliarity. A Faraday bag blocks out any digital signals and preserves the device in question exactly as it was found until is can be forensically examined.
And over at Pintangle this week, the new stitch is...Shell Chain....the link will take you to the tutorial page.
My OMG for December is the Teapot Quilt
My To-Do Tuesday list for....
December 7th through December 14th
1. Work on the Teapot Quilt
2. Do more Tile Blocks
3. Sandwich Sunbonnet Sue & Overall Sam Quilts.
Finding a good book is definitely a hunt. I just started one and realized, not even a third of the way through, that I knew exactly how the plot was going to play out. Grr. So I pulled an old book off my shelf to read, and I'm enjoying that!ReplyDelete
Hi Sherrie! Oh, I have that book on hold at my library - it sounds good. Good job on the jar quilt! Thanks so much for linking up today. ~smile~ RoseanneReplyDelete
