WHAT TO-DO TUESDAY.....

 My list from last week....

1.  Get busy and tie the Red Work Quilt.πŸ‘Ž

2. Catch up on my TAST stitches.πŸ‘Ž

3.  Start cutting fabric for the Snowman Quilt.

 The list isn't very good this week....a squirrel

popped into my sewing room last week...and so the Snowman quilt was born.  Here is my first Alphabet Snowman.....A snowman.

The Red Work quilt is still in the hoop.....still waiting!!!!


 I didn't do any TAST stitches last week...now I'm 8 behind.  I need to cut some 81/2" muslin squares and get these started...or I'm never going to get caught up.  

 This is the last block I did...Week 30, Lock Stitch.

I did get a few more Granny Squares done for the Crochet Along.  I need  to sew 4 more onto this row.

My To-Do list for

September 6gh through September 12th

1. Make more Alphabet Snowmen.

2. TIE THE RED WORK QUILT!!!!

3.  Do TAST stitches catch up.

4. More Granny Squares.

5. Do some more Down on the Farm blocks.

TUESDAY......

 so it must be To-Do Tuesday being hosted by Texas Quilt Gal.  My list from last week.

1. Tie Red Work quilt!!!πŸ‘Ž

2. Start embroidery on 2nd Down on the FarmπŸ‘Ž

3. Catch up on my TAST Quilt.

4. Put another row on the Pink Baskets.

5. Start a SQUIRREL PROJECT....Alphabet Snowman quilt blocksπŸ‘Ž

The Red Work quilt is still in the hoop. 

 


 I didn't get the second Down on the Farm started, but the first one is all done except for some green grass.


 I finished my Wk 25 of TAST.  It's the Fern Stitch.  Just have to put the words on.  Wk 26 is the Barb Stitch...I'll be starting that one today.


And ta da...I got the pink baskets done, it's a filmsy now.


 I didn't get my Alphabet Snowman quilt blocks started...so that will be back on the list this week.  I can't make up my mind what color of fabric I want the blocks done with...I don't want bleached muslin...I want to do it on a light blue...but have none....so I'm thinking maybe a red print, if I have enough...if not the red print....maybe a green print.  See what I mean...can't make up my mind!!

 My To-Do List for August 23 through August 29....

1. Finish the Red Work Quilt!!

2. Finish block 1 of Down on the Farm...and start the 2nd block.

3. TAST....wk 26..Barb Stitch.

4. Start the Alphabet Snowman Quilt.

5.  Work on my See ya Later Alligator Quilt.

REALLY SLOW......

 stitching.   I've been working on my TAST stitches, but it's been really slow working on these.  I've almost got wk. 25 done...it's the Fern Stitch.   I seems to take forever to get the block done.  But I'm almost done with this one.  Just need to finish the border and words.

I got my August Color Challenge block done.

I also got my RSC Rainbow Challenge done...it's Orange for August.

That's about all I got done this.....Oh! I almost forgot...I got a few more Granny Squares done.  I've also started sewing them together.  Hope you all have a wonderful....

I'M LATE FOR MY......

 To-Do Tuesday list.....I wasn't feeling well yesterday and didn't get anything done.  Here's my list from last week, 1 got done and 1 of 2 for another  So not a very good week.....

1. Organize the quilt room.πŸ‘Ž

2. Make more basket blocks.πŸ‘Ž

3. Finish tying Zoe's Flags and start the binding.

4. Work on my Hand Picked Quilt.πŸ‘Ž

5, Crochet some more Granny Squares.πŸ‘Ž

6, Do Wk 25 and 26 TAST blocks.πŸ˜€ Wk 26 is done....

  I did cut the binding for Zoe's Flag Quilt and have 1 side done.  I'll be working on this one tonight/.  Hopefully I'll get done and make the label for it.  This is my main priority this week.  So it's at the top of my list.  This is also my Wednesday Wait Loss project.

I got Week 26 of TAST done....Sheaf Stitch.

That's about it for my Tuesday list.  Now I need to make a new one....I'll just carry over from last week.

To-Do Tuesday...July 19 through July 25th.

1. Finish binding and label Zoe's Quilt.

2. Mare more Pink and Purple Baskets.

3.  Finish Wk 25  of TAST and start Wk 27.

TUESDAY STUFF......

 It's Tuesday, so it's time to check and see how my To-Do Tuesday went last week.

My list from last week....

1. Sandwich quilts.✔

2. Lay out Pink Baskets.✔

3, Put quilt room in order.πŸ‘Ž

Last Friday I spent the afternoon sandwiching quilt filmsys.  I got 4 of them done.  Zoe's Flag Quilt is in the hoop


  and the 1. Red Work & Hearts, 2.Boo Quilt, and 3. Christmas Sampler are waiting their turn to be tied.

I also got the Pink Baskets laid out.  I really like the Green with the Pink.  It's going to take a whole lot more baskets to get this quilt done.  Thankfully I have been stocked up on Pink fabric!  I need to order some purple fabric, I'm down to bits and pieces of that one.

 

 As for the quilt room being back in order...I did it, but it lasted about 1 day.....now it's back to being disorganized again.  Next time I'll take a picture...lol.  

I also got another TAST  block done, taking place over at Pintangle  every Tuesday.  Crossed Buttonhole Stitch.  This is for Week 24.  Now I'm only 2  weeks behind. 


Now it's time to make my list for next week.

July12th through July 18th...

1. Organize the quilt room.

2. Make more basket blocks.

3. Finish tying Zoe's Flags and start the binding.

4. Work on my Hand Picked Quilt.  

5, Crochet some more Granny Squares.

TO-DO TUESDAY LIST......

 My To-Do Tuesday List from last week.

1.  Try to sandwich a couple quilts.πŸ‘Ž

2.  Work on SAHRR

3. Work on Crochet Along.

4. Make more pink baskets.

5. Start putting the flag blocks together.πŸ‘Ž

6, Do Wk 22 of TAST.

Well, I didn't get any quilts sandwiched.  I have been working the SAHRR this week.  I've got a few more butterfly's  to finish.  Give the farmer a face and do the Garden Signs

 


.  The Crochet Along got a few more Granny Squares

 


.....and a couple more pink baskets are done.  I was rummaging around in my fabric boxes and came across some more pink fabric.  I think this will make some pretty baskets.

  The Flags didn't even get a stitch done on those.  Wk 22 of TAST is done.

Plus I got Wk 23 done as well.

TUESDAY STUFF TO DO......

 It's Tuesday, so it's time to put up my To-Do Tuesday list, which is hosted by Linda over at her place, Texas Quilt Gal.  Hop over and see what everyone has worked on this week.

May 10th through May 17th

1.  Start working on center block of SAHRR.✔

2. Put the last row on Quilty 365πŸ‘Ž

3. Embroider more blocks for Hand Picked.πŸ‘Ž

I've got one more side to finish the embroidery on SAHRR.  Then I can start working on the center block.  Yesterday I cut the pieces for the farmer, the seeds and the dirt for the seeds.  

I didn't even pick up the Quilty 365

 


 or work on the Hand Picked quilt. 

 It's been a crazy week!  I haven't felt good and I just haven't been in the mood to work on a quilt.  I'm hoping this "bump in the road" doesn't last long and I can actually get something done this coming week.

Over at Pintangle it's TAST (Take a Stitch Tuesday)....I'm finally all caught up on my stitches.  The stitch this week is the Oyster Stitch.  So I'll be working on this.  Here are the stitches I've got done.

Wk 15 Butterfly Chain

Wk 16 /Coral Stitch

Wk 17 Bullion Knot

Wk 18 Arrow Stitch

MONDAY MAKING.......

The bugs have arrived on my SAHRR.  butterflies, bees, and snails.  I've it all pinned down, just have to start sewing them all down.

I've also got all the hearts on the basket quilt.  They are ready to sew down.

And I'm still working on Wk 11 of TAST, which is the French Knot.  I've got a lot of French Knots to

make for this one.  Each one of those green lines has French Knots at the ends of them.  I'll be making some pink and some yellow.  You can find Wk 11 over at Pintangle.

This is what I'll be working on today.....now I just have to make up my mind and pick one to work on.

TO-DO TUESDAY STUFF......

My list from last week...

 1. More Fall Sampler BlocksπŸ‘Ž

2. SAHRR

3. Finish October CirclesπŸ‘Ž

4. Do Wk. 11 of TAST

5. Put a border around Dresden Plate.πŸ‘Ž

 1. The Fall Sampler is the same as last time...didn't get any blocks done.

2.  I did work on my SAHRR this week.  I've got the last of the star flowers pinned on.  I have 5 more star flowers to sew down.  The the next border goes on.


3. The circles didn't get worked on...still in the bag, waiting.

4.  The TAST stitch this week is French Knots.  Head over to Sharon's place, Pintangle to see all of her examples of French Knots.  This is what I'm working on.

I didn't get the border on the Dresden Plate.  I was rummaging around in my fabric to see what color to use for this quilt.  I decided to go with this one...the pretty blue at the top of the picture.  I just need to cut the strips and sew them on.

I've started reading What the Wind Knows by Amy Harmon.  


 

It's all about fining your heritage and love.   I've only got about 50 pages into the book, but I like it.

I was searching for recipes for Kidney Bean salad and found this one at the Bush's Beans site.  I think I'll give it a try....I'll let you know how it works out.
