The Black Box - Michael Connelly
Product Description(Amazon.com)
In a case that spans 20 years, Harry Bosch links the bullet from a
recent crime to a file from 1992, the killing of a young female
photographer during the L.A. riots. Harry originally investigated the
murder, but it was then handed off to the Riot Crimes Task Force and
never solved.
Now Bosch's ballistics match indicates that her
death was not random violence, but something more personal, and
connected to a deeper intrigue. Like an investigator combing through the
wreckage after a plane crash, Bosch searches for the "black box," the
one piece of evidence that will pull the case together.

MY THOUGHTS: Even though I've read Michael Connelly's series with Harry Bosch, you can jump in and still enjoy the books. This is number 18 of the series and I've read several of them. This one is really very suspenseful and keeps you reading to find out what the heck is going on. Can Harry connect a 20 year old murder to a new murder? Harry has a lot of digging to do and lots of political stuff to weed through. Not to mention he has a new Lt. and they do not get along. I give this book 5......
This book is also for 2 of my reading challenges.....
