Audrey over at Quilty Folk is hosting Quilty 365. Once a month we check in with our progress on our circle progress.
April was a really unaccomplished month for me. I have 3 quilts to tie, working on a book shelf quilt and my circles. None of mentioned got done. I was trying to finish my circles last night, but sleep drug me to bed. I have 3 left to finish. They are pinned, just have to sew them down. I'm at day 121 on my circles.
On another note, this is the end of the month for my books for the month. Kathryn over The Book Date hosts Month in Review.

Favorite Book for April.....
I got so in to this book that I read it in one day. I neglected my house chores, the grandkids, and everyone else around me. And of course it got 5 ***** rating. Actually all my books this month were either 4 or 5 stars. Most were 5 stars. I also finished the Full House Reading Challenge.
I have so many projects that are long term that this year it seems as if nothing's really getting "DONE" either! :) Enjoy your reading! I've been doing a bit more reading than sewing lately as well, come to think of it! :)
ReplyDeleteLove to see your bookshelf quilt when you do finish it. Wow all those circles, are you hand sewing them on? It is always great to get a good reading month and to find a book that just drags you back to it to the neglect of everything else. It therefore deserves the top book slot!
ReplyDeleteIt's my only one project where I am up to date...beautiful blocks.
ReplyDeleteI loved - loved - The End Of Your Life Book Club -- Have a great May & good luck in getting your circles completed!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely quilt...that's one thing I wish I could do! My SIL quilts and made me one with books on one side - so cool! I love Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum series - such a fun series. I listen to them on audio and always find myself laughing out loud!!! I have The End of Your Life Book Club on my list...hoping to get to it soon!
ReplyDeleteHope you have a great May!
