July just flew by...I didn't get a whole lot done in July..just a few things done. I did get my Salt and Sand quilt top finished into a filmsy. Which will be my OMG, PHD, WOOFA, OPAM projects this month.
The quilt top needs to be sandwiched, tied and binding added.
I am working on getting my RSC 2020 together. It's a slow process...hand sewing through 4 layers of fabric with "stuff" in the way is hard on the fingers. I've got 2 rows together. There will be 10 blocks in each row with 6 rows making the quilt top. I haven't got the room to lay it out....so this is a partial row. If your wondering what the heck this is...it's a crazy quilt. The blocks are 6 1/2".
As for today, I'm working on my RSC 2021 block, I'm making baskets this year. This month the color is Aqua.
I'm also making a National Day Calendar Quilt. Which I'm behind on making one block a month. I've got Jan through April done...June is Pink Day....I've got a cute pink dress, it will need some embellishment before it's done. But it's pinned and ready.
That's it for today...I'm linking up with....
Hand stitching a crazy quilt can be torture for the fingers, but oh how lovely your blocks are. They are spilling over with lovely pretties. The little pink dress will look sweet with embellished touches. Enjoy stitching your basket....one cannot have too many baskets resting on a quilt, especially if each basket is a different colour.ReplyDelete
I like your crazy quilt and I'm sending best wishes for your poor fingers - lol! I have that same pink fabric and just love it - I'm hoarding it for now.ReplyDelete
