FEBURARY GOALS......

 I've made a list of goals I want to accomplish this month.  

1. Get National Day Calendar Quilt tied and binding added.  This is my OMG project this month

 

2. Put another row on the Christmas Sampler.

 

3. Put the Polar Bears in the hoop to be tied.  This is my OPAM for this month.

 4. Finish row 2 of  SAHRR. and start the embroidery work.  and painterly wait for row 3 to be announced.  I'll start my Garden saying on the center piece, as soon as I make up my mind which one to use.  Maybe you can help with this...here are the 3 I'm debating on.

1 Gardening is the work of a lifetime; you never finish.

2. May all your weeds be wildflowers.

3. To plant a garden is to believe in tomorrow.

NEW MONTH OF......

September...so it's time to set my goals for this month.  I've got 3 quilts that need to be sandwiched, tied and bound.  I've had one of these on my list for a while...so I will be glad to get it finished.  It's my Indiana Leaves quilt.

1.  Indiana Leaves

2. Salt and Sand

I also want to sandwich my Salt and Sand quilt.  

3. Orange Quilt

These 3 quilts are my WOOFA, OPAM, PHD 2021, and OMG projects for September.

AUGUST ALREADY......

 July just flew by...I didn't get a whole lot done in July..just a few things done.  I did get my Salt and Sand quilt top finished into a filmsy.  Which will be my OMG, PHD, WOOFA, OPAM projects this month.  

The quilt top needs to be sandwiched, tied and binding added.  

I am working on getting my RSC 2020 together.  It's a slow process...hand sewing through 4 layers of fabric with "stuff" in the way is hard on the fingers.  I've got 2 rows together.  There will be 10 blocks in each row with 6 rows making the quilt top.  I haven't got the room to lay it out....so this is a partial row.  If your wondering what the heck this is...it's a crazy quilt.  The blocks are 6 1/2".

As for today, I'm working on my RSC 2021 block, I'm making baskets this year.  This month the color is Aqua.  

I'm also making a National Day Calendar Quilt.  Which I'm behind on making one block a month.  I've got Jan through April done...June is Pink Day....I've got a cute pink dress, it will need some embellishment before it's done.  But it's pinned and ready.

ALMOST THERE.....

Today is the last day of May...my OPAM project for May is the Teapot Quilt.  It is almost done...it will be finished today...so I'll make my deadline.  This quilt is also my WOOFA project.   

I've also added some yellow to the Red Work quilt....I'm not really happy with this color as an alternate block....Mr. Seam Ripper is coming out of the drawer today!  Back to the drawing board...have any ideas as to what color to use for alternate blocks....while making my RSC basket block, I got the idea to put baskets between the red work blocks.  Now to figure out what color to make the blocks.

I've got my Purple RSC basket block done.  

Well, I guess that's it for today...hope you all have an AWESOME...

I'VE GOT A FINISHED QUILT.......

 Yea, Overall Sam is finally done.....Well almost.... Just have to finish sewing the label on.  But I'm still counting it as DONE.  This quilt is on my OPAM and WOOFA list.  So this one can be taken off the list.

The next quilt to get sandwiched is the Teapot and Frog Quilts.  I'll be working on them this week.

As for today, I'll be putting the Tile Quilt's finishing touches on.  I have to finish a couple more blcoks and put the strips on and this one will be a filmsy.

MONTHLY GOALS......

 Do you make goals?  I do, but sometimes I don't make it.  But sometimes it's a slow progress.  Like my Sunbonnet Sue, which is getting it's binding.  It's almost done.  One more side to finish.  And Overall Sam is being tied, it's in my hoop. These 2 quilts were my OMG projects for February.  But they didn't make it.   I am still working on them.  So they will be my OMG projects for March.  They will also be my WOOFA, PHD AND OPAM projects this month.

MONTHLY GOALS.....

 Since it's February,  l am going to be working on one quilt.....to finally get it finished.  It's the Sunbonnet Sue Quilt.  All the blocks are embroidered.  This is a birthday gift for my granddaughter, Bella.  Her birthday is in July, so I should have enough time to finish it.   BUT, yes there is a but, her brother Thomas, is her twin, so he gets a quilt too.  His quilt is an Overall Sam that is also embroidered.  So for February I'll be working on these 2 quilts.  The quilt tops are done....they need to be sandwiched, tied and bound.   That's Bob on the quilt top.  He wouldn't move....

February 2nd through February 8th

1. Make more Tile Blocks

2. Make the Frogs into a Filmsy.

3. Cut Fabric for Red Work blocks.

And of course I can't forget my RSC block, the color for February is Yellow.  Also my National Day Quilt needs a block for February 8th...National Kite Flying Day.  So I'll be working on this one this month.  So I've got a lot to keep me busy this month.....so I better get at it.  Hope you all.....
