I totally almost forgot to post my Scavenger Hunt pictures today. Want to know how this works? Head over to Ashley's place, Ramblings and Photos to see all the pictures everyone is sharing for Scavenger Hunt Sunday.
Vintage - my mother's rolling pin. She owned this rolling pin and used it my whole childhood. When she passed away I got it. I use it to roll out dumplings for Chicken and Dumplings.
Word or Quote - a sign advertising breakfast.
Nature's Own - some moss growing in our yard. Isn't it pretty!
People - my hubby and son enjoying the spring weather.
Photographer's Choice - beautiful blue sky, fluffy white clouds and a jet trail.
What we are hunting next week...
1. Whimsy
2. Create
3. Dust
4. Seed or Sprout
5. Swing or Drop

CROCHETED CHRISTMAS ORNAMENTS
I've decided to make Christmas Ornaments. I picked out my patterns (10 of them) and if I did my math right, I make 3 of each and that way I'll have 30 at the end of March. I've been busy. I have a tin that I'm keeping my ornaments in, so the twins won't find them.
The tin is getting full, I'll have to find something else to stash them in. Here's a peck at them out of the box.
Aren't they pretty! They will of course look better on the Christmas Tree. Here's a close up so you can see them better.
Don't forget to hop over to Heather's place to check out what everyone else is working on.

PROJECT 366 REWIND - WK. #10
The spice Lazy Susan, it's full of spices for healthy cooking.
My favorite drink, a fountain coke from our local convenience store.
Luke playing ball with grandpa.
Me crocheting and watching t.v on my computer. This is my relaxation time.
The shadow of the trash can, which is sitting on my file cabinet. Why you might ask is the trash can there? Because the twins like to dump the whole thing out.
Found this little flower blooming. The first sign of spring around here.
Bella's M i c k e y M o u s e smile. The twins love to watch The Mickey Mouse Clubhouse on Disney. She gets this silly smile on her face.

Water - I was trying to catch a drip, but it didn't work, so all I got was water running.

Chocolate - nothing like hot chocolate in the winter, homemade kind.
Animal - this is Tigger, he plays music and the twins can bounce all they want.
Crowded - the crib isn't used for the twins anymore, but the toys have accumulated in there. It's getting crowded.
What to look for next week:
1. Vintage
2. Word or Quote
3. Nature's Own
4. People
5. Photographer's Choice

PROJECT 52 - WEEK #10
We are having signs of spring around here, but mother nature fools you sometimes. Last year we had snow in April. So I'm not getting too excited. But I do have a very pretty flower blooming, it's a miniature Iris. It's the first spring flower to bloom. Plus the Daffodils are starting to bud.

PROJECT 366 REWIND - WK. #9
Everyone in our house is sick. The twins are feeling better, they went to the doctor and have antibiotics, but the adults are fighting it off on their own. It's a nasty little bug that makes you feel like crap. I did manage to get my pictures taken this week.
Bella loves Ranch Dressing, can you tell.
This is a rock in my garden. It was so pretty out, I had to go see for myself.
Before the twins went to the doctor, we had to re-adjust their car seat straps.
My bee quilt is sorely neglected. I need to start working on it again.
This is Luke and Grandpa playing. Luke is getting ready to throw the ball. He has quite a swing on him.
Another pretty day. The lantern in the garden has some frost on it.
My favorite measuring cups. They are Tubberware and I've had them 30+ years.
My favorite mixing bowls. They are aluminum.

SCAVENGER HUNT SUNDAY
Ashly over at Ramblings and Photos is the host for Scavenger Hunt Sunday. Want to join in? Here are the rules:
Here's My Interpretation:
Routine - this is a before and after shot. Getting the kitchen back in order is a regular routine for me.
Music - is Tigger singing while you hop away.
Technology - is all the "stuff" that makes my computer run and I can't tell you how it works, my son keeps it up and running.
Show Me Your Style - is me wearing flip flops in the middle of winter. I pretty much wear them all year.
Mismatch - I'm sure everyone has one of these. A pile of mismatched socks. I keep them just in case I run across the other one. And it occasionally happens.
What to look for next week.
1. Water
2. Light
3. Chocolate
4. Animal
5. Crowded
1. Anyone can participate.
2. You're encouraged to take five new photos this week for the challenge. Creativity is also encouraged!
3. If you get stumped, you may use one photo from your archive (although I'm not too strict about it - I do my best to take fresh shots).
4. Link up here on Sunday (or Tuesday at the latest) - you can use the button above.
5. Leave comments for at least five entries around yours (we have so many new participants each week, this is the only way I know to be inclusive).

CROCHETED BAG
I used Lucy over at Attic 24 as my designer. She has some beautiful hooky stuff over at her place. I've always wanted to make a crochet bag, but for some reason have never made one. Lucy has a tutorial for a crochet bag, so jumped right in. She also has some pretty crochet flowers tutorial. I got the crochet bag done. But not the flowers. Here's my crochet bag.
It holds all the yarn and patterns that I'm working on. Which is an afghan I'm doing. The afghan is called Granny Got Color. The pattern is over at Caron International. So far I've got 2 rows done.
I'm going to be making Christmas Ornaments for the month of March. I've already got my patterns all picked out. Now I just have to get started. That may be delayed a bit. As we have a couple sick babies in the house. Bella and Luke, my twin grandbabies, are sick. And of course now I'm sick. So the Christmas Ornaments will have to wait a few days.
