SEPIA SCENES

My hubby and a friend repairing the roof on the front porch. I though this would look good in Sepia. I like it.

SQUIRREL

This little guy was busy digging in the yard. He must have left something behind last fall and was trying to find it.

I am linking up with Susan over at A Southern Daydreamer for Outdoor Wednesday. Head over and check out her beautiful roses.

MOSIC MONDAY

I am joining Mary over at The Little Red House for Mosaic Monday. Like to play around with Mosic's? Head over to Mary's place and check them out.

My Mosaic is some favorite shots of my twin grandbabies, Bella and Luke. Believe me, this was a hard decision to pick. I have hundreds of shots! But I finally narrowed it down to 9 pictures.

TEETH

This is Luke, he's the youngest of the twins by 20 minutes. But he is the one doing everything. He has 3 teeth in this picture, he has since then gotten another one. Bella, who is the oldest is just breaking her first tooth. And if she follows her brother she will have 3 more in the next couple of months.

PROJECT 365

My hubby has gotten carried away with putting stuff in this garden.

A multitude of weeds.

A giant bug. It's a bubble bee.

My hubby mowing the grass, it's really growing fast.

My grandbabies, twins, Bella and Luke sitting in the grass. They did not like it.

129/365

I am joining Susan over A Southern Daydreamer for Outdoor Wednesday. Want to join in? Want more info?

My hubby is on his second mowing of the grass. It's growing so fast. We have had lots of rain the last few weeks. I don't know why but the grass is so much more greener this year. Maybe it's because we've been looking at brown and white all winter. Anyway it's really green and growing fast.

BIG BUG

I got a shot of this bug crawling on the window. Do you know what it is? The picture isn't very good so I'll give you a hint. It's black and yellow.

To see it close up just click on the picture.

There are several different kinds of weeds here. Along with grass and flowers. There's even a tree growing in there. It's a never ending job.

GARDEN GATE(S)

126/365

My hubby finds stuff! Rummage Sales, Flea Markets or Trash it doesn't matter. He brings it home and some day we use it. As in this garden. It has a piece of lattice, a foot board from a bed and 2, count them, gates. He's gotten a little crazy on this one. I'm going to have to fix this myself I guess.

I am linking up with Jan over at Murrieta 365 for SOCC and Scenic Sunday. Head over and check them out, some really great pictures to see.

To all the Mom's, Have a great day!

AWESOME WEEK!!

It has been a sometimes nice week and sometimes not. One day the sun is shining and warm, the next it's cloudy, rainy and cold. So I got some pretty good pictures this week, in between clouds and rain. We had a few sunny days.

Luke meeting a new toy, he's still a little young for this but he liked all the buttons and gadgets on the truck.

The Tulips are beautiful this year for some reason. But I don't know what happened, these are suppose to be red.

Moved the half barre from around back to here. It looks much better here.

Getting a new roof on the front porch. If the weather holds up. It was pretty bad. My hubby and a friend are putting it on.

The Creeping Phlox is blooming.

Working on re-doing this flower bed. I've put an old chair in there and added some stone pots. Now for those pesky Dandelions.

The Poppies are up and getting green. The grass is really greening up.

SIX WORD SATURDAY

I am joining Cate over at Show My Face for Six Word Saturday. What exactly is this? Here is some info:

Want to play along? All that's necessary to participate is to describe your life (or something) in a phrase using just six words. Feel free to explain or not explain. Add an image, a video, a song, nothing. I love seeing what everyone does with their entries.

"Spring is here, lots of green!"

FIRST OF THE MONTH

I am joining Jan over at Murrieta 365 for First of The Month. What is this? Here is some info:

The goal is to capture one thing repeatedly on the first of each month. It can be a landscape, a person, an animal, a project; whatever your focus is, is fine. It can even be a record of where you are each First of the Month.

As you can see the Dandelions are taking over as usual. That's my new chore. Getting them all out. I've put some new "garden stuff" in the bed. An old chair my hubby found in the trash. And some pots. I've still got to arrange it. If mother nature cooperates, I'll be planting some Petunia's here before long. Next fall I plan on moving some flowers from another bed to this one. I was hoping the Forsythia Bush would be blooming but it hasn't quite made it out yet. It's still kind of chilly here, highs around 50-55 and lows in the 30's and 40's.

MAY

This is what April looked like.

CREEPING PHLOX

The Creeping Phlox is blooming. It's not all the way out, juts starting. Once it's all bloomed out it looks like a purple carpet.

I am joining Jenny over at her place for Alphabe-Thursday. The letter this week is "C". Go check out all the folks showing off their "C" pictures.

NEW ROOF

122/365

We needed a new roof on the front porch so bad. A friend is helping my hubby put it on. They got part of it done, but ran out of shingles, so they had to stop another day. Now we are waiting on mother nature to cooperate. It's been raining all week.

Want to see more outdoor pictures? Head over to Susan's place A Southern Daydreamer to see all the Outdoor Wednesday pictures everyone is sharing. And Meg over at The Unexpected World of Mommyhood is hosting Project 365.

CIRCULAR

I've moved this half barrel from another garden to this one. I haven't decided what to put in it yet. And of course you always have the ever present Dandelions.

TULIPS BLOOMING

120/365

I was out taking pictures of stuff. My Tulips are blooming and they are beautiful this year. The strange thing about this is they are suppose to be red. Don't know what happened there. And of course the Dandelion's are popping out all over the place.

I am linking up to Lisa over at Lisa's Chaos for Macro Monday. And Meg over at The Unexpected World of Mommyhood for Project 365. Go check them out!

NEW TOY

This is Luke and my hubby. My hubby is introducing Luke to the ride and go truck. He isn't quite old enough yet to play with it, but he did seem interested in all the knobs and gadgets on it.
