ONE A DAY PROJECT

Well I started a new doily a few weeks ago. It's called Sunburst and it's beautiful in the picture. But I hit a snag somewhere along the line. I've had to rip it out and start over. Because I didn't know where the mistake is. I worked on it yesterday and now I'm back where I was when I ripped it out.

I also did a few rows on my ripple afghan I'm working on. I started this last winter and didn't get if finished. Hoping to finish is this winter.

  1. Love your ripple its very cool! I want to give a doily like yours a try but I worry that it will be a bit too delicate for me... has it been difficult?

  2. Your Doily is so delicate. I love the colour too, when I started my sunny spread throw I chose a yellow ochre which I loved, but my hubby said it didn't work and I listened to him......what? When will I learn?!

  6. Such fine, detailed work. The yellow/amber colour works well too. I hope you figure out where you went wrong last time - it can be very frustrating to have to pull apart crochet already done.

  8. Lovely projects! The doily is beautiful, I don't think I'd have the patience to work on something so delicate, so I love seeing other people working on things like this.

  9. Love your doily and ripple blanket. I used to make a lot of doilies, but now the eyes have a hard time doing that kind of detailed work. :( Look forward to seeing it finished!
