I've started working on my It's A Guy Thing quilt. I have a tub full of odds and ends blocks. A while back I used to trade quilt blocks...we had to make so many and send them to a person on our list. Wellll...I've got lots of those. I did some out every once in a while and put them together. This is what I'm going to make my It's A Guy Thing quilt from. How appropriate for Guys...Bow Ties. ...I also have a stack of little 4 patches. I'm going to add these to the Bow Tie blocks...and see what kind of design I can come up with. Since I don't really have that many, this will probably turn into a wall hanging. Any suggestions on how to arrange these blocks would be appropriated.
I'm also still working on the Salt and Sand quilt. Putting the lines on 21 Clams is a lot of embroidery. I'll get there, it will just take a little time.
I've been watching The Good Doctor on Hulu...waiting for the 5th season to come out. This is when I work on my quilts...while watching t.v. in the evening.
My Book Club at the library is back on. I missed the meeting...so I went to the library last week and picked up my Book Club book. This month we are reading...The Little Paris Bookshop by Nina George.

Those bowties are perfect for a guy quilt! It will be fun to see how that turns out. I read that book with my book club, too, and really enjoyed it?
ReplyDeleteThose bowtie blocks can be used in so many ways. Looking forward to seeing how you combine the two blocks. The clams are looking good, but that is a lot of stitching. Hopefully it's moving along well.
