MY THOUGHTS: Do you believe King Arthur was real or a myth? I myself am a believer. But then again I'm a fairy tale believer too. Who doesn't believe in happily ever after or at least wants to think there is a happily ever after. This book is written beautifully. I truly believed I was there with Gwen, Myrrdin and Arthur. But this story doesn't end the way you think or want it to. It's a different perspective on the story of Arthur. This is told through the eyes of Gwynna, a little girl who is saved my Myrrdin. She is turned into a little boy by cutting her hair and dressing her as a boy. But Gwynna has one thing that Myrrdin needs. She can swim like a fish. So Gwynna turns into the lady of the lake and gives Arthur his sword Caliburn. As the years move along Gwynna is sent to live with Arthur's wife to learn to be a girl and to spy for Myrrdin. How does this all end? I can't tell you much more without giving the ending away. Does Arthur become king? You'll have to read the book to find out.

CHILDHOOD

Bella and Luke had their first cookies and milk. Oreo cookies and they loved them. They got a little messy but that's part of childhood.

UNFINISHED

Last fall the city put in a new drain in our yard. It is to keep the water from standing. When we get lots of rain, there would be a lake in our back yard, the neighbors yard and the farmer's field behind us. So the city put in a new drain and it came across our backyard. When dug the hole for drain, they of course left big piles of dirt. Yesterday I was doing dishes, which is a never ending job around here, and I look out the window and see a backhoe and several me. They were leveling out the dirt piles.

PROJECT 365

This seemed to be a week of getting stopped by trains. Everywhere I went there was a train. What's a girl to do. I of course took pictures.


The helicopter was at the hospital. It airlifts people to Indianapolis or Ft. Wayne hospitals.

Second train. It had lots of these round cars. It carries some kind of liquid.



Schools look so lonesome when there aren't any children there.



Third train. This one has lots of graffiti on it.

HEARTS

LIQUID

I was sitting waiting for the train to get pass. It was moving really slow. At the end was lots of these round cars. They usually carry some kind of liquid. Don't know what's in these but I didn't see any hazardous signs on them.

IN THE DISTANCE

This is the new Ethanol plant in Marion. It is owned by Central Indiana Ethanol. The plant was built in 2006/2007. It processes 17 million bushels of corn into 50 million gallons of ethanol annually.

HEARTS

This is the last of my Bleeding Hearts. It had been raining and the raindrops are still on the leaves.

PROJECT 365

I've been kind of in a slump the last few days. Haven't posted anything, but I have been taking pictures. This is my week review for May 22 to May 28.


These little "helicopters" as we call them fall off the trees and get every where.



Hanging pot in the kitchen. I need to buy a new one. This one is looking kind of old.


In between all the boxes and jars is my Aloe Vera plant. I always forget to water it, how it stays alive I'll never know.


This is a doily I'm working on. I'm almost done with it.


This is our backyard at night. Looks kind of spooky don't ya think.


We had a visitor to our backyard. A bunny. I took this picture through the back door window and it's plexiglass. That's why the picture is kind of foggy. Didn't want to open the door and scare him away.

ICE CREAM MUSTACHE

This is Bella and Luke, my twin grandbabies. They love ice cream. They are showing off their ice cream mustache.

I was out last night trying to capture a picture of the lighting. But my point and shoot camera just isn't fast enough to catch it I guess. This is what I got. Kind of Frightful looking if you ask me.

The green Doily I've been working on.  It's almost done.

ALOE VERA

My poor Aloe Vera plant is buried somewhere in this jumble of boxes and bottles. How the more thing survives is beyond me. I never remember to water it. It can go months without water. Yet is still survives.

PLANT

This is my Philodendron plant. My mom gave me a start from her plant 20+ years ago. This is the same plant. I've taken starts from it to give to family and friends. Now it needs a new pot and potting soil.

FLIGHT

Luke's teeth, he has 3 and another one is breaking.


Luke with lunch all over his face. He is eating a baked potato.


The twins getting a bath. They are almost too big for the kitchen sinks.


A squirrel came visiting, he was digging around in the yard like he lost something.


Butterfinger anyone? Better hurry, not too many left.


The cement floor in the laundry room. With several different floor coverings. We've tried everything. And I guess cement works best as the washer gets whacky once in awhile and floods the place.


Cheese, why do we have so much shredded cheddar cheese? My son likes Tacos for a late night snack. And there is one buried under there that looks like it's a little moldy.

CEMENT

We have a cement floor in the laundry room. Which is a good thing, because the washer goes whacky once in a while and floods the place. Which isn't good for carpet, which is what used to be there. Now there is a runner on the floor and a piece of linoleum.
