I'm doing the A to Z Blogging Challenge. Today is the letter B. I am also making a quilt out of all the letters...This is my B block...Bluebird. I'll also be adding some info on the Bluebird.
I searched Google for info, and to my surprise, there are Bluebirds in Indiana. I've never personally seen one. This is what the Bluebirds in Indiana look like.
These are Eastern Bluebirds...the female is on the left and the male is on the right. You can read all about Bluebirds at Wikipedia HERE.

ReplyDeleteDropping in from #AtoZChallenge -- We have bluebirds in Alabama and they are so pretty!! I love your quilt square.
ReplyDeleteThat is an adorable bluebird block! A-Z quilts are fun. We are said to have bluebirds in Oregon, but I have never seen any. I do read the Western Bluebird is rare, and the other is in the high mountains, so...
ReplyDeleteCute bluebird block! I don't know if we have these birds in France, never saw one.
ReplyDeleteAmazing quilts! No bluebirds round here, sadly, but did see a woodpecker whilst out walking today. Good luck with your challenge :0)
