HAPPY TUESDAY!!

 To-Do Tuesday

Last Weeks  list
1. Sandwich Zoey's Quilt
2. Finish putting the last row on the Indiana Leaf Quilt.✔
3.  Play catch up on RSC blocks...I've got the May greens and June pink ones done. I just have to make January through April blocks...that's 20 blocks....wow...I'm so behind!

I've been putting off getting Zoey's quilt together...I knew it was going to be a long and tedious chore.  Put I finally got it on the cutting table and proceeded to sandwich it...what an adventure...it reminded me why I don't make large quilts anymore.  Got my fabric down and put the batting down...and put the top on...the batting shifted.....
Anyone have any great ideas on how to get batting to stay put.  It took me 4 tries before I got it all on there and pinned.
WOW...that was a chore...I was wore out after all that walking around the cutting table.  I've put the quilt in the hoop and is ready to be tied.

The Indiana Leaf Quilt top is finished...Just needs a little trimming.  This is a little ways down the road to being done!
I got several more Crazy Quilt blocks done...working on the February blocks now...Orange.

  2. Hi Sherrie! Your lilies are gorgeous. My orange ones are growing like crazy but haven't opened up yet. I don't know if I have any suggestions for your batting slipping. I usually get a rough size for the backing and batting, and then I iron out any wrinkles on those two together on my kitchen island. Then I flip them (with help from a friend!) and then layer the quilt top and start pinning. I can only recall one quilt having the batting slip so that it was really close on one side. Good luck and I sure do understand all the walking back and forth getting it layered! Thank you for linking up today. ~smile~ Roseanne
