TO - DO......

 I've been kind of obsessed with working on 2 projects this week.  But, I'm getting ahead of myself.  My To-do list last week.

January 12th through January 18th

1. Sandwich, tie and bind Sunbonnet Sue. 👎

2. Cut stripes for Tile blocks.✔

3.  Work on more of the Frog blocks.✔

I didn't get Sunbonnet Sue sandwiched.  I just can't get in the mood to do this.  So Sunbonnet Sue, Overall Sam, and the Teapot quilt is still laying on the table waiting to be finished.  At this time, I'm working on the Frogs and Tiles Blocks.  I started putting the stripes on the Tile Quilt.  I really like this color for the stripes.  Don't know where or why I bought this fabric, but I really like it.

The frogs are coming along.  But I'm going to have to rip it apart to re-arrange the colors.  Too many green frogs and lily pads. I've also got to put more embroidery on the lily pads...so Sharon's Pintagle is the perfect place to find those embroidery stitches.  Head over and check her place out, she has a stich dictionary to find any stitch you want.  So, this is where I am now...

LAST TUESDAY OF 2020,,,,,

Hard to believe it's the last Tuesday of the year. This year went really fast, well, at least to me it did.  It's also the last Tuesday for To-Do Tuesday.  

December 15th through December 22

1. Finish adding strips to Teapot quilt.✔

2. Do more Tile blocks.✔

3. Sandwich Sunbonnet Sue and Overall Sam???👎

The Teapot quilt is ready to be sandwiched.

 

I got 2 more tile blocks done, I need one more block and I can start adding the strips between rows.

As for sandwiching Sunbonnet Sue and Overall Sam, I sound like a broken record....but they are still waiting to be done.  Thought I would start work on these after the new year.

That makes 3 quilts I have to finish.  Hoping I feel like it and all my company has gone by then.  I love everyone visiting, but it gets a little hectic around here sometimes.  Especially with 3 teenagers in the group, it's really loud sometimes.  They get to talking and then they get the giggles.  LOL!!!!

So what will I be working on next?  I'll be adding some more to my Fall Sampler and Christmas Sampler.  And I hope to get my Frog hanging done.  My To-do list for next week...

1. Sandwich Sunbonnet Sue, Overall Sam, Teapot quilt.

2. Dig out the frog hanging and work on that.

3. Work on the Fall Sampler.

 The Teapot Quilt is moving along.  Just have to cut some more border strips.  This is where I hang my quilts to take pictures...hoping I'll have a new Quilting Room in 2021....maybe.

 

I got 1 Tile block done and have started block 7.  I'll wait until I have 10 of them done and then decide on the color for the strips.

The Sunbonnet Sue and Overall Sam quilt filmsy's are still waiting.  I've had a bad week this week.  The weather has turned cold and the cold makes my bones ache so bad it's hard moving around.  But it's suppose to warm up  by the end of the week, so I'll get to work on them then.

The stitch this week over at Pintangle for TAST is Triangular Buttonhole Stitch.  Over at the Clever Chameleon this week....if your getting her free pattern for the Lunacy Quilt....she has the Rooster pattern posted today.

I only got one thing done from my list last week...Yippeee, the Umbrella Quilt is done.

The Jar Quilt will get sandwiched today.  

And the Fall Sampler is in limbo.  I can't seem to make up my mind as to where I want to go on this quilt.  I've been on line looking at fall samplers...there are some pretty ones, but not what I'm looking for.  I'll keep looking and maybe an idea will come to me.  This quilt will more than likely get pushed into 2021.

November 17th through November 23rd

1.  Sandwich and tie the Jar Quilt

2. Decide on binding for Jar Quilt

3.  Work on lay-out of RSC blocks

4.  Make a decision for Fall Sampler

QUILTING, QUILTING AND MORE QUILTING....

 Today is Tuesday...so that means my To-Do Tuesday list is ready to post...my list from last week.

1. Organize the project table.✔

2. Finish embellishing the RSC blocks.

3. Work on Cat/Mouse blocks.✔

I got 2 of three done this week.  I didn't finish the embellishing of the RSC blocks..I got 2 of them done.  I need to put some beads on the second one and it will be done.

I put the features on the pink mouse.

And my project table got cleaned off, well except for the dust...I forgot that part.  And organized into ziploc bags.

So it wasn't a bad week....but I think I should have done better...but the way I've been feeling I consider this a WIN for me!  What's up for next week's To-Do List...

October 20th through October 27

1. Finish the Crazy Quilt blocks.

2. Finish the embroidery for the Fall Sampler.

3. Clean my desk from top to bottom...it's really messy at the moment.

I'VE BEEN STUCK......

 trying to figure out what I'm doing...plus I haven't been feeling well this past week...what I call the "just don't feel like myself" weeks.  I've been jumping all over the place on my projects...I think the problem is, I've got waaaay to many things going on.  My mind just doesn't know what to pick up and work on.  And my little table I use to put my projects on is so dis-organized I can't find anything I WANT to work on.  So starting today the projects are getting organized, into gallon size zip lock baggies and labeled.  

I missed To-Do Tuesday last week...so I guess I'll make a new list of To-Do's.

October 13th  though October 19th

1. Organize the project table.

2. Finish embellishing the RSC blocks.

3. Work on Cat/Mouse blocks.

I did manage to finish the Pumpkin block of my Fall Sampler...and started the Christmas Sampler.

 No luck getting the Umbrella and Crazy Quilt together.  At this stage of my confusion, it seems to be bigger than Mt Everest.  

 

So these two quilts may go into November...we'll see what happens.

 And over at Pintangle it's TAST(Take a Stitch Tuesday).....what is the new stitch this week...Woven Cross Stitch...head over and check this out.

I've only got 2 blocks partially done...Stacked Pumpkins and a Tree...the tree needs some leaves and the pumpkins need the lines put on them.

Still working on the RSC blocks... this is Block 4

The Cat Quilt is in stall mode...I've been working on other "stuff" so haven't got anything else done on this one...I need to put the features on the mouse.

As for the Umbrella Blocks...I laid it out on the design "floor" and I still need one more blue block.

 I've got a Ta Da today...The Valentine Quilt is finished...this is also for To-Do Tuesday.  My list from September 8th through the 14th.

1. Finish the Valentine Quilt✔

2. Start embellishing the RSC 2020 blocks✔

3. Lay out the Umbrellas on my design "floor".✔

1. It was a pretty productive week...worked on my RSC 2020 blocks...started embellishing them.  Also got the Valentine Quilt done...yea!  This quilt is also my OMG and UFO Number Draw Challenge.

 2. Started the embellishments on my RSC 2020 blocks.  I've got 2 of them done.

Block 2

3.  I put the Umbrella's out on the design wall "floor"...this is what I came up with, but that may change.  I've got a few more blocks to do and then one will be put together.  Haven't decided if I want to put a border between the rows or leave it as is.  The bottom row needs another blue one.  I like this!  I just may leave it without between borders and put a wide border on the edges.  What do you think?  Between borders or edge border???

The TAST stitch this week over at Pintangle is Whipped and Double Whipped Chain Stitch...this is my stitching.

July 28th to August 3rd
1. Finish Zoe's Quilt (one way or another...this will be done!)
2. Do more Umbrella Blocks✔
3. Cut binding for Zoe's Quilt
4. Pick out a project for August One Monthly Goal✔

1. Well, I guess 2 out of 4 is good....kind of.  It's going to be cool here in Northeastern Indiana the next 4 days...then back to hot...so hoping I can get Zoe's quilt done...I haven't got the binding fabric picked out yet...I'm thinking about using black...what do think about black binding?  Let me know.

I was going to work on it yesterday...but got sidetracked by my son...he's putting the new linoleum down in the hallway, which needed a good cleaning before laying the linoleum...so I spent the better part of the day doing that.  Thus Zoe's quilt didn't get worked on.  

2. I did get some more Umbrella blocks done and my fabric I'm using for the borders came yesterday...

The raindrop fabric is a little bluer...the picture is kind of dull looking....this will be the borders for the umbrella's. 

3. I did pick out my OMG project for August...it's my Valentine Quilt...the top is done, just needs sandwiched, tied and binding put on.  So I'll be working on that for August.

Since this is a small quilt..if time allows I may also get the Boo quilt done...we'll see..

I also got started on my RSC 2020 Crazy Quilt blocks...got the blocks all done and have started embellishing them....

All the embroidery I've placed is Running Stitch, Cross Stitch, Cable Stitch...you can find all these stitches over at Sharon's place, Pintangle...she has a stitch dictionary so you can find the stitches...I also do the TAST every week...
