OBESSION.....

I've obsessed by this quilt...trying to get it to a filmsy.  The last border is going on now.  This quilt is for the See ya Later Alligator Blog Hop being hosted by  Head over and check out all the folks that are joining.  Here's list of folks that will be posting on Friday...go check them out.

Just Because Quilts

You can't see it in this picture, but light brown is the last border. Yea!!!  Now maybe I can work on something else.  I really want to make another Alphabet Snowman.  The next letter will "B".  Plus I have to add the cars....2 on each side.

While I was blog hopping yesterday....I saw lots of new ideas for a quilt....as if I need ideas...that usually gets me in trouble...ha ha

The one that caught my eye was a Cup quilt.  It was so cute!  In the mean time, I've still got the Red Work quilt in the hoop to be tied...only have a couple more rows to do.  Then the Boo quilt goes in the hoop.  This  won't take long to tie...it's a small quilt.

I also need to make my Blue birdhouse for RSC 2020.  And my National Day Lama needs done for September.  But, I'll finish up the See ya Later Alligator quilt...I need to put a couple cars on the road.  Plus I want to make a couple table runners with orange...

I've got a lot of orange fat quarters.  I sorted them out last night.

So I've plenty to keep me busy.  Have a wonderful.......

4 QUILT TOPS......

sandwiched.  Friday I spent the afternoon sandwiching quilt tops.  I got 4 of them done.  First up is Zoe's Flag Quilt.  It's in the hoop being tied.

Next is my Boo Quilt...this poor quilt top has been neglected for 5 years.  It was time to take it out of the box and finish it.

Next one on the list is the Red Work Baskets.  I know everyone said to put the baskets on point, but I didn't have enough baskets to do that.  And besides I didn't actually know how to go about it.  I added some hearts to the mix and this is what I got.

And last on the list is my Christmas Sampler.  I really like the blue border on this.  Makes the whole quilt pop.  Well, the picture doesn't show the blue border very well.  Oh, well...you get the idea.

Now comes the hard work, tying  and binding.  So I'll be working on these 4 quilts for a couple of weeks.  I'll post them here when finished.  They will go into my Quilts Finished  Tab at the top of my blog.

As for today, my Slow Sunday Stitching will be working on tying Zoe's Flags.  And start the binding.

HAVE AN AWESOME........

Today I'm doing nothing but work on a couple quilts....that means no dishes, laundry, or cleaning up messes.  What will I be working on, you might ask.  I have to finish my birdhouse for RSC 2022.  I also have a couple blocks to re-do.  Wrong words and leaf for the jars...it's for the Color Challenge I'm working on.  I also need to work on my TAST stitches.....I'm behind.  I have the Coral Stitch and the Bullion stitches to do.

I was getting out all the quilt tops that need to be sandwiched this morning. This is all of those tops.

Since I finally made it to Hobby Lobby last week, I'll be putting a coupe of these together in the coming weeks.

Boo Quilt

Alexis's Quilt

Red Work Quilt

So that's what my plans are....we'll see how far this goes.  I sometimes get distracted by those sneaky squirrels.

Hope you all have.....

I HAVE ALL CHECK MARKS.....

To-Do Tuesday is today.  You can check out all the folks lists over at Linda's place, Texas Quilt Gal.  Hop over and check them out.

My list from last week...

1. Finish National Day✔

2. Start tying Polar Bears✔

3. Make a few more Christmas Sampler blocks.✔

4. Do TAST stitch for Wk. 8✔

Yes!  I got all checks this week.

The National Day Quilt it all done, been washed and ready to be stored with my other quilts.

The Polar Bears are tied and I've started the binding.

I got a few more of the Christmas Sampler blocks done, this my favorite.  I still need 5 more to finish this one...then a border.

The TAST stitch for Wk. 8  is Running Stitch.  You can check this out over at Sharon's place, Pintangle.

I  thought I lost my Fall Sampler blocks.  I searched and searched every box, bin and tub for them.  I finally found them, YEA!  So I'll be working on those.  While I was digging around in everything, I came across the BOO! Quilt.  I couldn't find it before, so I made another one.  This is the original one I made.  So it's in the box waiting to be sandwiched...The Indian Leaves quilt is also in the box.  Along with Under the Sea.  So I've got a lot of work to do.

I also found my Circle quilt.  And have started working on it.  You can see that post HERE.

So my list for February 23rd through March 1st

1. Finish binding Polar Bears.

2. Make 5 more Christmas Sampler blocks.

3. Do Week 9 of TAST.

4. Put on last border of SAHRR.

5. Make another Fall Sampler block.

6. Work on Circle quilt.

7. Do the Aqua Bird House for RSC.

That list should keep me busy this week.  Have a great....

UFO'S...WE ALL HAVE THEM.....

I have lots of them!!  I've been trying to get some of them done this year.  So far I've got 5 of them done...
4th of July Quilt, ABC Quilt, Easter Quilt, Happy Scrappy Quilt, and Spring Quilt.  The thing that helped me get these done is a UFO Challenge...I was blog hopping one day and ran across Dreamworthy Quilts...Ann has a UFO challenge going on over at her place.....the Number Draw UFO Challenge....want to know more about this...just click on the link.
My Number Draw for July is Zoe's Quilt....
sorry to say I didn't get it done.  It was so blasted hot in July...high 80's and 90's with high humidity...toooo hot to have a quilt laying on my lap.  But I'm still plugging away at it...hoping to get it tied at least in the next couple days...the binding may have to wait...we'll see.

The August number for the UFO challenge is number 7 on my list...but I've already done number 7...the Easter Quilt
So I've bumped another quilt up to # 7....my UFO for August is the Valentine Quilt
the top is done, just needs sandwiched, tied and binding put on.  This is another small quilt...so it shouldn't take too long to finish....just have to get in the mood to drag out the cutting table and walk around it a gazzillion times....I may also put the Boo Quilt together while I have the cutting table out.  It's also a small quilt.
Hope everyone has an awesome.....
