BOOKS, QUILTS AND EMBROIDERY......

To-Do Tuesday.....May 5, 2020

My list last week...
1. Tie and bind the 4th of July Quilt
2.  Learn a new embroidery stitch...Wrapped Coral Stitch
3. Work on my SAL(Stitch A Long)

What have I been doing this week?  A little of this and a little of that.  I have been working on putting the binding on the 4th of July Quilt.  This quilt is a little bigger than the other 2 I recently done....so it's taking a little longer.  I've got one side done and have started the the top.

Learning a new embroidery stitch didn't get done or working on my SAL...I've had this obsession about getting all my quilt UFO's done, which is a good thing, as most of these quilts I'm working on have been stored away for many years.... so it seems everything else has gone by the wayside.

I did manage to get my book I've been reading finished...In Good Faith by Scott Pratt...this is book 2 in the series, I really enjoyed reading this book.  If you like mysteries, murder, and lawyers, you'll like this book.  *****

I've started another book...How to Bake a Murder by K. J. Emrick, it's a cozy mystery.

As for embroidery, I didn't get anything done on my SAL....but I did do a TAST stitch...It's called Buttonholed Cable Chain...It's a very pretty stitch, can't wait to put this one on a Crazy Quilt block.  Sharon over at Pintangle is the host for TAST, check it out...lots of embroidery over there.
Next Weeks To-Do List....

1. Finish the binding on the 4th of July quilt
2. Tie the Scrappy Quilt.
3. Work on RSC 2020 Quilt(Dark Green)

Well, that's it for me...Hope you all have a great....

  1. Hi Sherrie! I looked up that cozy mystery book in my library but they don't have any books by that author. That's a shame because she has a few. I hope you're enjoying the binding process - it's a great period on that nice finish and it'll be just in time for use. Thanks for linking up today. ~smile~ Roseanne
