Mackinaw Bridge
Wondrous Words Wednesday
I found this word in a book I read...In Good Faith by Scott Pratt. See my review here....Just Books.
Sophistry...."trying to argue that I had benefited in any way from the disaster was pure sophistry"
Sophistry means.. the use of fallacious arguments, especially with the intention of deceiving.
I have this little patch of rocks, weeds and grass growing under my kitchen window. I've always wanted to do something with this, but not quite sure what to plant. The area gets sun most of the day. Plus when it rains, it drips off the eaves. I've thought about putting cacti here, or succulents, but not really sure if that would work. Have any suggestions?? Have an awesome....
Beautiful bridge and a place I'd love to visit.

I would have guessed the meaning of sophistry completely wrong so I appreciate being straightened out. My mother in law loved Mackinaw Island!

Beautiful bridge. I learned a new word today. Have a great day.
ReplyDeleteThat is indeed a beautiful bridge!
ReplyDeleteI would suggest peony poppies. They come in many colors and are rather sturdy through all kinds of weather.
